Singer and composer Cindy Claudia Harahap is one of thc rising stars in Indonesia. Tens of songs have been composed by Cindy and sung by herself in her own albums or by oilier singers. Some of her hits include: "Aku Sayang Padamu"("I Love You Dearly"), "Berdua" ("The Two Of Us"), "Cuma Buat Kamu" ("For You Only"), "Mengapa Sampai Berpisah" ("Why Did We Have To Part"), and "Kunang-kunang" ("Fireflies"). Cindy has recorded 4 albums to date.
Her talents as a singer and composer seem to be inherited from her well known father, Rinto Harahap, who has composed hundreds of popular songs from the 70's up to the present, and many of which are big hits.

She became well known after she successfully won the "Asia Bagus" competition in Singapore (1992), then achieved the "Grand Champion" in Tokyo (1993), and received the award as the "Young Talented Artist" by obtaining ihe FIDOF Award at the Midnite Song Festival in Bukarest, Rumania 1993). Krisdayanti has recorded 3 albums to date and she has also started her career as an actress in TV-play (teleplay).
